Iran Press/Iran news: "Dual citizenship of Iranian nationals is not recognized in the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran and, therefore, Ms. Adelkhah is an Iranian citizen. And as such, she benefits from all the citizenship rights of Iranian citizens," Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said.
Mousavi emphasized that the case of Ms. Adelkhah is being carefully examined by the judiciary within the framework of Iran's carefully-calibrated and just legal system, and the French Ministry interference is baseless and has no legal justification, Iran Press reported.
He added: "This will not only not help resolve the issue, but will also make the legal process more complicated."
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman described the move as an interference in the internal affairs of Iran, saying the French meddling is unacceptable. 104/211/219
