Iran Press/ Iran news: In a tweet on Friday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote: On the 44th anniversary of the elegant Islamic Revolution's victory the Iranian nation has stood up to declare national solidarity and celebrate the pride of Iran and Iranians."
"The Iranian nation has time and again proven that Iran is not a place of velvet coups," the Iranian foreign minister pointed out to the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Forty-four years ago, on February 11, 1979, the Iranian nation led by Imam Khomeini succeeded to oust the US-backed Shah regime and established the Islamic Republic of Iran based on the people's votes.
On the eve of the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory, the foreign ministers of different countries, including China, Thailand, Hungary, Malaysia, and Tajikistan congratulated the occasion to the Iranian foreign minister.
