Karachi(IP)- Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, who has traveled to Pakistan with an economic delegation, arrived in Karachi City and paid tribute to Muhammad Ali Jinnah's tomb, the founder of Pakistan.

Iran PressAsia:  Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in continuation of his trip to Pakistan, left Islamabad for Karachi on Friday morning.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a lawyer, politician, and founder of Pakistan. Jinnah served as the leader of the All India Muslim League from 1913 until the establishment of Pakistan on 14 August 1947 and then served as the ruler of Pakistan until his death as the first Governor-General of Pakistan.

Karachi is the financial and commercial center and the largest port of Pakistan, which is known as the economic hub of Pakistan.

Moreover, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran unveiled the new name of Old Clifton Street, which was changed to Imam Khomeini, in Karachi on Friday.

At the initiative of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, a street named after Imam Khomeini (RA) has been connected to a highway known as Shahrah-e-Iran or the Iranian Highway.
