Iran Press/Iran News: Ceremony honoring the selected nominees of the first memorial of Martyr Soleimani held on Wednesday in Tehran.
In the ceremony, the Chairman of the Foundation for Preservation of Sacred Defense Values said that the former commander of IRGC's Quds Force Lt. Ge. Qasem Soleimani defeated ISIS in the West Asian region.
In this ceremony, which was held in the Garden Museum of Sacred Defense, three audiobooks regarding Martyr Soleimani’s life were unveiled.
The nominees in various fields of producing artworks also were awarded.
The Radio Department of IRIB has produced 118 programs in 241 hours to honor martyr Soleimani on his anniversary.
Head of the Foundation for Preservation of Relics and Dissemination of the Values of the Sacred Defense Brigadier General Bahman Kargar and Head of the Radio Department of IRIB, Ali Bakhshi Zadeh, were present in this ceremony.
The chairman of the Foundation for Preservation of Sacred Defense Values said that the former commander of IRGC's Quds Force Lt. Ge. Qasem Soleimani defeated ISIS in the West Asian region, and the people of the region escaped from the clutches of the terrorist group.
Brigadier General Bahman Kargar stated that all global arrogant powers and reactionary countries in the region supported ISIS, and the purpose of the terrorist group was Iran.
Some US officials have repeatedly stated that the United States created and equipped the terrorist group ISIS, General Kargar pointed out.
Noting that the arrogant powers had been seeking the assassination of General Soleimani for 20 years, he stressed that certainly, the Iranian people would take revenge on the perpetrators of the assassination of General Soleimani, especially Donald Trump and Mike Pompeo, the US President and Secretary of State, in due time.
The glorious funeral of Martyr Soleimani was one of the Iranian people's revenge against the United States, he noted, adding that Donald Trump's single-term presidency was another sign of the revenge.
The chairman of the Foundation for Preservation of Sacred Defense Values referred to the US-backed Iraqi Baathist regime's 8-year war on Iran and said during these years, even not a single inch of the Islamic territory Republic of Iran remained in the occupation of the enemy.
