Unilateralism, bullying important challenge for global security

Tehran (IP) - Speaking at the Second Regional Security Dialogue in Tehran, Chinese State Security Minister Chen Wenqing said that unilateralism, and bullying are the most important challenges facing today's international security environment.

Iran PressIran news: Afghanistan faces significant domestic and national challenges to achieve peace, the Chinese Minister added.

The security challenges in Afghanistan are complicated and multi-faceted and have political, military, cultural, social and economic dimensions.

Independence, security, and development are Afghanistan's most essential needs today, the official highlighted.

He described Afghanistan as the heart of Asia and the crossroad of European and Asian civilization and noted: "In order to create lasting security in this country, serious attention must be paid to comprehensive development in Afghanistan. Afghan-Afghan negotiation and the end of the presence and involvement of foreigners in Afghanistan is indispensable for achieving a comprehensive and lasting peace in the country." 101/211/207
