Iran Press/ Europe: Italian tourism activists have called on the government to lift the ban on selling tourism packages outside EU member states.
Since the COVID outbreak, the Italian government has cut off tourist connections to all parts of the world and only released tourism activities inside Europe this spring.
Tourist connections between Italy outside the green continent are still banned, and there are many restrictions on issuing Italian visas to non-Europeans.
Italy's tourism sector, which accounted for nearly 13 percent of the country's gross domestic product before the COVID crisis, has lost tens of billions of euros in 2020.
The interviewee is one of the directors of travel and tourism agencies in Italy.
