Tehran (IP) - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution says today, the ill-wishers of Iran and Islam rely on soft war, stressing the need to counter this.

Iran PressIran news: The remarks of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution during the meeting of the officials in charge of holding the National Congress of Nomadic Martyrs, which was held on June 13, were published this morning at the conference venue in Shahrekord.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in this meeting, referring to the interpretation of the great Imam of the nomads as the country's reserves considered the holding of this congress a good opportunity for people to pay attention and get acquainted with the nomads and said: "Today, the ill-wishers of Iran and Islam rely on soft war, so all members of the nation, including nomads, need cultural affairs and productions. Of course, in cultural work such as film and book production, feedback and the impact of productions must be considered and measured."

Referring to the nomads' resistance to the numerous efforts of foreigners over the past two or three centuries, the Leader said: "The aim of these efforts was to force the nomads to betray the country and actions such as disintegration and civil war, which never succeeded. They are the most loyal section of the nation."

The Leader considered the sacrifice of the nomads during the revolution and the holy defense as another manifestation of their loyalty and pointed out: "The main factor of unity, progress and self-sacrifice of the people, including the nomads, was the factor of "religion" that the great Imam used the vital element to led revolution to victory and after the revolution, it secured the country in the face of the massive support of foreign powers and reactionary governments for Saddam in order to put an end to the revolution."

Ayatollah Khamenei called the martyrs a beautiful and glorious manifestation of religious faith, and emphasizing the unique role of religious motivation in the struggle of the warriors, as well as the patience and peace of the martyrs' families, said: "Of course, some who have nothing to do with religion seek to abuse the religious motives of the martyrs and warriors, but the honorable motives of the martyrs should not be reduced to anything less than the religious motives and gaining God's approval."

The Leader called the soft war one of the most important aspects of silencing or weakening religious motives in the country and added: "Today, everything that is done in the country against religion, traditions, sanctities and religious rites depends on a political motive and used by the enemy while a person behind it in doing so is unaware of this fact."

The Leader of the Revolution considered the weakening of religious faith, the weakening of hope and optimism for the future of the country as components of a soft war against the nation and pointed out: Inducing hopelessness, stalemate and the fact that the officials do not know how to run the country is one of the acts of ill-wishers against Iran, and today, anyone who despairs people of the future, or weakens the faith of the people, or make people disbelieved or pessimistic about the efforts and plans of the officials, whether he/she knows it or not, works for the benefit of the enemy."

Ayatollah Khamenei called the important lesson of the martyrs a lesson of hope and noted: "Our warriors entered the battlefield in a situation where according to normal calculations there was no hope of victory, but as a result of hopeful struggles, the war ended with the dignity of the Islamic Republic and the suppression of aggressors. That is, even in the most difficult situations, one should hope for divine help and their diligence."
