Iran Press/ Middle East: International Al-Quds Day was celebrated today in Beirut. Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah addressed the event, which Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah's son attended.
"We salute the tens of thousands of Muslims who gathered in the Al-Aqsa mosque in Palestine today to perform the last Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan," Nasrallah said.
"This is an occasion to highlight the patience of the Palestinian people, their readiness and willingness to sacrifice, their legendary steadfastness, and the amazing operations that the Palestinians carry out," he added.
"America, the West, the Zionist movement, and everyone who worked with them tried to validate and fixate the Zionist entity in our region. They thought we would forget about the struggle with time, but decades passed, and they failed to let us forget Palestine.
They thought they would strip the Palestinians of hope by conducting countless massacres and driving Arab counties to normalize.
We recall Egypt, whose withdrawal from the fight had its effects back then, but the Palestinian hope is ever-present in the long run!
The heroic operations in occupied Palestine, the rockets launched that reach the Zionist entity; the guns fired in the West Bank and Jenin...tell the whole world that the path of despair has failed, and the Palestinians have not despaired but have become more certain of victory.
"The Iranian stance that supports the resistance movements isn't a slogan but a truth that is revealed in action; what Imam Khamenei said today proves the serious & absolute commitment to support Palestine & the resistance movements in the region."
Equation of occupation, security Israel relies on, no more valid
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, in his remarks, also said the equation of occupation and security the ‘Israeli’ entity relies on is no more valid.
This year, the International Quds Day happens while we [the resistance] are in a very advanced strategic position.
Many developments on the side of the resistance took place this year, which the enemy is trying to disintegrate while we are working to cement.
The individual operations inside the occupied Palestinian territories represent one of the most dangerous things the ‘Israeli’ entity has faced.
The enemy’s leaders admitted that the Zionist security failure was due to the individual operations, which exposed the fragile Zionist security and broke the ‘Israelis’ trust in their army, security system, and government.
Operations taking place in the occupied territories increased the existential concerns among Zionists and affect their economy alike. The danger of such individual operations was that they occurred in different areas and were carried out by Palestinians from different regions, and this shows that the equation of occupation and security the ‘Israeli’ entity relies on is no more valid.
The Palestinian cause is part of our religion, faith, and dignity, and we are a nation that cannot give up our faith, beliefs, or dignity. The same applies to Yemen. If the Yemenis announced that they had abandoned the Palestinian cause, would they still be attacked? However, no pressure has caused these countries to leave Palestine.
Military Jihad has proved that Israel is not invincible, nor is it victorious by default. It proved that Israel is defeated as we have caused it one defeat after the other.
The fragility of this entity has prevailed on many occasions, whether in 2006, last year in the Battle of the Sword of Al-Quds or through the operations inside the occupied lands.
One of the strengths of the singular operations in the occupied territories is that they have occurred in several geographic locations. Those operations have shaken the entity.
Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as International Quds Day in order to survive the Palestinian issue and declare the solidarity of the world's Muslims with the Palestinians and mobilize forces to save Al-Quds from Zionist occupation.
Today, April 29, 2022, coincides with the 27th of Ramadan, 1443 AH, the International Day of Quds.
