Governor of Khorasan Razavi province Mohammad-Sadegh Motamedian

Mashhad (IP) - The governor of Iran's Khorasan Razavi province announced an agreement with Afghanistan to export fuel to this country.

Iran PressIran News: The Governor of Iran's Khorasan Razavi province Mohammad-Sadegh Motamedian said: "In the agreements made with Afghanistan, fuel exports to this country will be done through the construction of tanks and the construction of a pipeline."

Motamedian added: "The existence of long borders of Khorasan Razavi with Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, especially the Dogharoon border as one of the oldest borders in Iran, which is the gateway for transit to Central Asian countries, has created good conditions for the development of international trade from this province."

The official described the promotion of regional diplomacy with exporters' help in Iran's Khorasan Razavi province to remove export barriers to Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and other Central Asian countries as future plans in this province.

The governor of Iran's Khorasan Razavi stressed: "According to the policies implemented at the macro level of the country, a new transit route from the Dogharoon border and Afghanistan's Herat will be provided for the Islamic Republic of Iran to access the borders of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to have new management in the field of transit and solving the problems of the region."
