Semnan (IP) - The Commander of the Air Force of the Army of the Islamic Republic announced that Iran's drone knowledge has been progressed and advanced.

Iran PressIran news: The commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF), Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh told Iran press correspondent about the latest equipment, achievements, and drone subsystems made by Iran’s experts in Iran’s army and defensive industries.

He went on to say that Iran’s Army drones have been displayed in a variety of formations, including reconnaissance, surveillance, and combat.

His remarks came as he was speaking on the sidelines of Iran’s first large drone combat exercise of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran which was launched on Tuesday with the participation of hundreds of drones from the four forces of the army in the general area of Semnan.

Stating that the Army Air Force attaches special importance to drones in air battles, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh added: "In the future, the good news about the drone knowledge science of the Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be published."

The first large drone combat exercise of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran began on Tuesday in the general area of ​​Semnan with the participation of hundreds of drones from the four forces of the Army.

According to Rear Admiral Mahmoud Mousavi, Deputy Commander of Operations of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the large drone combat exercise, different types of drone systems in the Army, air, and naval defense will perform defined missions in real combat conditions.
