Tehran (IP) - The Secretary of the High Council for Human Rights in Iran, Ali Bagheri-Kani stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has created the best conditions for Afghan nationals to grow and develop in various fields, namely science.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Ali Bagheri-Kani said the reason that Afghanistan is insecure is that the occupiers use any tools to undermine Afghanistan's security and peace.

Bagheri-Kani noted that Afghanistan territories are occupied by enemies, and they do not let Afghans live in peace.

As the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed, all governments must try not to let any foreign forces, especially the US, have a presence in the region," he highlighted.

"Despite all challenges and shortage of basic amenities during the Iran-Iraq war, the Iranian nation warmly welcomed the Afghan people while the country's budget was less than 5-6 billion dollars," he pointed out.

"Many Afghans left their county after it had been occupied by the Soviet Union, and migrated to Iran. The Iranian nation and government had warmly received them although Iran was engaged in a war," said the official.

"For forty years, Afghan nationals have been living in the Islamic Republic of Iran without any problems," he stated.
