News sources report that as the likelihood of Benjamin Netanyahu’s conviction in ongoing legal cases strengthens, U.S. President Donald Trump may request that Israeli President Isaac Herzog grant a pardon to the Israeli Prime Minister.

Media outlets in the occupied territories have revealed behind-the-scenes efforts by the U.S. President to save Netanyahu from his impending legal convictions.

According to Israel’s Channel 11, sources close to the ruling coalition in the occupied territories indicate that as the possibility of Netanyahu’s conviction grows, Trump is expected to ask Herzog to pardon him.

The Zionist media outlet added that negotiations between senior American and Israeli officials on this matter are currently underway.

Netanyahu has faced multiple legal proceedings in recent months, and the judicial system of the Zionist regime is expected to issue verdicts soon.

Israeli police began investigating Netanyahu’s cases in 2016, and in 2019, the then-Attorney General formally indicted him. These cases are known in the media of occupied Palestine as Case 1000, 2000, 3000, and 4000.

Despite Netanyahu’s repeated attempts to delay proceedings, the hearings on his charges have reached their final stages, and the public awaits the judicial rulings.

In response to reports of Trump seeking to halt Netanyahu’s trial, Yair Lapid, head of the opposition in the Zionist regime, stated: “It would be better if Trump did not interfere in our internal legal affairs.”
