Iran exports

Ilam (IP) - Director-General of Customs Department of Ilam province, western Iran, said that since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20), 534000 tons of goods worth $ 284 million have been exported to Iraq through the Mehran border crossing.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with FNA on Wednesday, Ruhollah Gholami, added: Fruits and vegetables, ironware, tiles, ceramics, glass, and construction materials are among the most important exports to Iraq, which have happened after the corona restrictions.

According to Gholami, last year, 2 million and 79,000  tons of goods were exported from the Mehran border crossing to Iraq, which has increased by 24% in terms of volume.

The border city of Mehran in the southwest of Ilam, with its international border, is the most important and main route for the movement of private cars, and trucks carrying export goods as well as vehicles carrying pilgrims to Iraq.
