Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas

Middle East (IP) - The Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced the details of the son-in-law and senior adviser of US President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner's message to the movement.

Iran Press/Middle East: Ismail Haniyeh said that the current US administration is trying to open channels of dialogue with the top officials of the Hamas movement in order to implement the so-called "Deal of the Century".

He added: "Kushner's office has asked some parties to talk to top officials of the Hamas movement, and they have sent us a message in this regard, saying: "They are ready to meet with us anywhere, either in an Arab or in a European capital to discuss the situation in Gaza."

"We have no problem negotiating with the United States or any other country in the world, but we reject any direct talks or dialogue with Israel," Haniyeh stated.

The Head of the Political Bureau of the Hamas Movement noted: "Disarming the Palestinian resistance is one of the strategic goals of the occupying Israeli regime, and the regime is behind it."

He added that Israel had failed to disarm and blockade the resistance despite all efforts to normalize relations and include Hamas in the list of terrorist groups because the resistance was expanding.

Haniyeh stated: "We are not looking for war in Gaza, but we are not afraid of it either. If the occupying regime of Israel thinks of a new invasion of Gaza, the battle will be different because the Palestinian groups and al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas military branch) on the top of these groups have facilities that the occupying regime will be surprised."
