Iran and Tunisia stress expansion of bilateral ties

Iranian Ambassador to Tunisia Mohammad Reza Raouf Sheibani met with Tunisian Minister of Commerce, Mohamed Msilini on Monday to discuss the ways for further expansion and strengthening of bilateral ties.

Iran PressAfrica: The two sides highlighted the importance of advancing trade relations between Iran and Tunisia as well as the opening of new horizons for bilateral cooperation.  

During the meeting, the Tunisian Minister of Commerce stressed the need to improve the level of trade between the two countries and to try to increase reciprocal meetings, noting that COVID-19 has affected the joint commission of the two countries.

The Iranian Ambassador for his part called for expanding bilateral cooperation and meetings of economic activists of the two countries.

Sheibani also suggested that a series of long-distance union meetings at the level of chambers of commerce be held with the participation of a number of businessmen from the two countries under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce. 212/ 207
