Iran PressAmerica: Muslims in Canada chanted slogans such as "Stop terrorism against Muslims" and "We love all prophets," condemning the French authorities and media for insulting Islam and the Holy Prophet.

The Muslims of Canada also presented the people of the region with flower branches as well as copies of the Holy Quran and a number of publications related to Islam.

In recent days, the French magazine Charlie Hebdo has started publishing insulting cartoons about the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).

French President Emmanuel Macron, in a statement far removed from the diplomatic costume and principles of democracy, said that France will continue to publish insulting cartoons against the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).

Macron's anti-Islamic remarks have been widely criticized and condemned by Muslim people, officials and figures in Islamic societies around the world.

So far, in many Islamic countries, French flags have been set on fire or rallies have been held in front of the French embassies and Muslims have demanded an official apology from French officials.
