Iran Press/Middle East: Chairman of the Yemeni Revolution Supreme Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi stated that most of the military vehicles and tanks which have been gotten of booty in war during the Yemenis' major operation in Najran, southern Saudi Arabia, are Canadian-made arms for which the country has yet not received any money from the Saudi regime.
According to Iran Press, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, chairman of the Yemeni Revolution Supreme Committee said on Wednesday that Yemen was ready to negotiate with Canada over the equipment it has seized from the Saudi regime, stressing that Canada must correct its policies toward Yemen.
According to Yemeni sources, thousands of Saudi officers, soldiers, and military personnel have been captured as prisoners of war by the Yemeni army in the Najran operation. Yemeni sources also stressed that the operation indicates that the Yemeni fighters are capable of further penetrating into Saudi territories in case Saudi Arabia continues its aggression against Yemen.
Backed by the United States, the Saudi regime and some of its Arab allies invaded Yemen in 2015 and have enforced a strict blockade of the country by ground, air, and sea ever since. 101/219
