Iran Press/ Iran news: In a news conference with IRIB World Service Networks (Iran Press, Press TV, Hispan TV), Member of Iran's Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi added, western countries mock human rights.
Pointing out to the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi by Saudi Arabia, Boroujerdi said, the way the US and European countries deal with murder case of the journalist, and their indifference toward the killing of thousands of people in Yemen by the Saudi regime is a "horrible contradiction."

Boroujerdi also described American conservative behavior in this regard, unacceptable.
Pointing out that Washington has been defeated in the regional wars, the member of Iran's Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission added that the Middle east is American battlefield.
Jamal Khashoggi disappeared on October 2 in Istanbul, and was last seen entering the Saudi Consulate, where he went to receive papers required to remarry.
On Friday, amid pressure from the international community, Saudi authorities announced that a fistfight had broken out between Khashoggi and people who met him at the consulate, with the altercation leading to his death.
Riyadh noted that 18 Saudi nationals had been detained in connection with the case, and that intelligence chief Ahmad Assiri and senior aide to the crown prince Saud al-Qahtani were sacked over the incident.
