Iran PressMiddle East: "Barbie movie threatens Lebanese values, so its screening is prevented," shared Lebanon's Minister of Culture Mohammad Mortada with Iran Press correspondent.

The movie was banned due to its immoral content posing threats to the Lebanese family and society, according to the Lebanese Culture Minister.

Mortada claimed that the Barbie movie promotes celibacy and homosexuality, destroying the family structure.

The Lebanese Minister stated that these thoughts endanger the beliefs of the young Lebanese generation, so the country's officials had the duty to deal with the danger and prevent the movie's screening.
