Iran Press/ Asia: Thousands of Armenians took to the streets of Yerevan on Thursday to protest the ceasefire of November 10 in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region and demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Protesters said Pashinyan has had a "catastrophic performance" in controlling the situation in the disputed area of Nagorno-Karabakh over the past six weeks.
The Nagorno-Karabakh peace agreement was signed on November 10 in Moscow by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to the agreement, control of the territories in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which have fallen into the hands of Armenian forces in the recent clashes between the Armenian and Azerbaijani militaries, will be transferred to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
