An Iranian citizen who was allegedly accused of violating the US sanctions against Iran was released from jail.

Iran Press/ America: Negar Ghodskhani who was sentenced by a US court in Minnesota to twenty seven months for violating unilateral sanctions against Tehran, was released. 

Ghodskani, 40, has been in custody since she was arrested in Australia two years ago on charges of circumventing US sanctions against Iran.

Ghodskani, who had been brought to the US to face charges, was put on a plane after her sentencing hearing and was back in Iran by Wednesday night.

She was arrested on charges of allegedly transferring wireless broadband technologies to Iran and violating US sanctions by the Australian government and was handed over to the US authorities in order to complete the investigation.
