At the beginning of the ceremony, Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Taghi Saberi said: "Forty-four years ago one of the most popular revolutions of the 20th century happened. The revolution succeeded in overthrowing the dictatorial regime dependent on foreigners and established a political system based on religious democracy in Iran. Saberi emphasized: Iran has achieved many scientific, economic, and technological achievements in the past four decades, despite the conspiracies and obstacles.
Talking about Iran's foreign policy, he added: The foreign policy of the Islamic Republic has been based on the principles and values of the Islamic Revolution in the international arena, defending peace and justice, rationality, independence, and rejecting any discrimination, aggression, intervention, and foreign domination.
