Bghdad(IP): The leader of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement called for the consolidation and strengthening of Baghdad-Tehran relations.

IranPress/Middle East: According to Iran press, on Monday, " Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, "the leader of Iraq's national wisdom movement, in a meeting with "Mohammed Kazem Al-e Sadegh," the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad, discussed the need to create an equation that could reconcile all parties in Iraq based on the constitution and the current law of this country.

He also emphasized the importance of forming the Iraqi government based on the priorities of the current stage to realize the aspirations of the people of this country and restore their trust.

Hakim clarified that the security and stability of Iraq is to the benefit of the security and stability of the region and its countries.

The leader of Iraq's national wisdom movement called for the continuance of talks to bring closer the views and determine the role of differences between Iraqi political parties.

Hakim also pointed to the Arbaeen Hosseini ceremony and said that Iraq and the Iraqi nation are proud to serve the pilgrims on an occasion in which the titles disappear, and only the title of the pilgrim Hossein (AS) remains.

The Iranian ambassador to Baghdad also presented a report on the Iranian nation's viewpoint of the Iraqi nation's position in supporting the pilgrims of Arbaeen Hosseini (PBUH).

According to this report, Hakim and Al-e Sadegh discussed and reviewed the developments in the political situation in Iraq and the region and the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Tehran, in addition to the Hosseini (PBUH) rituals that have unified the nations of the region, including the two countries of Iraq and Iran, in the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Hosseini (PBUH) and the martyrdom of the great prophet (PBUH).

Among the Arab countries of the West Asian region, Iraq has the most cultural and religious affinities with Iran. Having the longest border among its neighbors (about 1258 km land border and 351 km water border), racial, historical, linguistic ties, religious commonalities, and the existence of common security and economic threats and interests are considered important points in Iran-Iraq relations.

The expansion of Iran-Iraq relations in recent years has always been on the agenda of the authorities of the two countries due to the many cultural, political, and religious commonalities.
