Tehran(IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister, on the eve of the departure of the Iranian ambassador to Australia, stressed paving the ground for boosting interaction and cooperation between the two countries in various political and commercial fields.

Iran PressIran news: Hossein Amir- Abdollahian, met with Ahmad Sadeghi, the new ambassador of Iran to Australia, in order to optimize the provision of consular services to Iranians living in Australia and recommended some plans to implement effective solutions to establish and develop the room for interaction and cooperation between the two countries in various political and commercial fields.

In this meeting, Sadeghi presented a report on the latest state of Iran's relations with Australia and explained the priorities in the upcoming action plan to develop relations between the two countries.

Sadeghi used to work for the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ottawa and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New York,

Furthermore, he had the position of  Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, Research Deputy of the Office of Political and International Studies as well as the chairmanship of the third department of South Asia (India and Subcontinent) in his service records.
