Iran Press/ Iran news: Alborz Province students last week presented their articles at Tehran Nanotechnology Festival.
Deputy Head of high schools at Alborz Department of Education Mehryar Karami said on Monday that an article of Elementary student at Fatemiyeh high school in Karaj Asal Monfared was selected as Iran's top article in the section of scientific and research nanotechnology paper at the 12th National Nanotechnology Festival.
This student has presented a paper called the production of starch-based, biodegradable plastic by mechanized method at the festival.
This paper aims at helping preserve the environment.
In this national festival, 403 student's articles were reviewed in the field of nanotechnology.
Asal Monfared's article was recognized as the premier research project at the provincial stage of the Kharazmi festival in Alborz.
