Iran Press/ West Asia: According to al-Mayadeen, the Al-Qassam Brigades (the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas) announced that they fired rockets at the "Dimona" area in the occupied territories.
Qassam added: "He carried out these rocket attacks in response to the crimes committed by the Zionist army against Palestinian civilians in Gaza."
The news media reported that the warning siren sounded in the Dimona region and the south of the occupied territories.
Dimona is the name of the region that is located in the south of the occupied Palestine and the Negev desert. Dimona nuclear power plant is located 10 kilometers south of Dimona; an issue that indicates the high sensitivity of this area.
Earlier, the Al-Qassam battalions announced that they targeted the gathering centers of the Zionist enemy in the Sofa military center located around the Gaza Strip using heavy mortars.
According to the latest statistics announced by the Palestinian Health Ministry, the number of Palestinian martyrs surpassed 7700.
