IP - Amir Khan Muttaqi, an Afghan Taliban politician serving as acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan left for Tehran to attend a high-level political conference on the issue of Palestine.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran press news agency on Friday, Zia Ahmad Takal, the deputy spokesperson of the Taliban's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Thursday informed about the visit of Taliban acting foreign minister Maulvi Amir Khan Motaghi to Iran an hour ago.

It is said that Motaghi, at the head of a delegation, went to Tehran at the invitation of Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, to participate in the "High-Level Political Consultation on the Palestine Issue" conference.

This conference will be held in Tehran with the participation of officials from different countries on the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran regarding the Palestinian people and ensuring their regional and international security.
