The spokesman for Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI) has stressed that Tehran will take further steps to reduce its commitments to JCPOA if other signatories to the agreement fail to honour their end of the bargain.

Iran Press/Iran News: In further remarks, Behrouz Kamalvandi said Iran's decision has been made in response to America's unilateral withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and also to reestablish a balance between the rights and benefits, on the one hand, and obligations on the other hand, of all signatories to JCPOA.

The spokesman for Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI), speaking on Saturday afternoon at the opening ceremony of a training course in 'nuclear rights' held at the Dr. Hessabi lecture theatre in AEOI headquarters in Tehran, emphasised on nuclear cooperation between Iran and the European Union, and talked about nuclear safety issues.

He also talked about 3 joint seminars, organised by Iran and the European Union.

Other guest speakers at the event were Stefan Clement, the head of an EU delegation and former special aide to Catherine Ashton (the former EU foreign policy chief) , and also Keijo Norowanto the Finnish ambassador to Tehran.

Kamalvandi stressed that the training course has been convened in coordination with the European Union , and that such courses will strengthen cooperation between Iran and the European Union on technical nuclear matters.
