Zahedan (IP) - A 320-bed hospital in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province in southeastern Iran, is prepared to receive corona patients as the Delta variant of the COVID-19 is surging.

Iran Press/Iran news: Predicting the fifth wave of COVID-19, the No. 2 of the building of Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS) Hospital in Zahedan was quickly completed. Now the main parts of the 320-bed hospital are ready to receive the corona patients.

Currently, 100 regular and ICU in the Shahid Soleimani building of the hospital are ready to provide service.

With the construction of the No.2 building of the hospital, the province's health and medical capacity were increased by 25% for receiving the corona patients.
