Iran Press/Middle East: A young Palestinian named "Abd al-Jawad Hamdan Saleh" was martyred in Umm Safa village, north of Ramallah, due to being shot by Israeli military bullets last Friday evening.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the young man was seriously injured in the chest and died after being transferred to the hospital.
The village of Umm Safa witnessed many Zionist soldiers simultaneously as the village residents performed Friday prayers in the village council square to prepare a protest march against the construction of a settlement near the village's southern entrance.
Mohammad Bahr, a member of the Umm Safa council, said in this regard at the same time as the Palestinian demonstrations, the Zionist forces closed the entrances to the village of Umm Safa and stationed their soldiers in the buildings and high areas. With the support of the Israeli soldiers, the settlers targeted the Palestinian citizens with stones and sticks.
The village of Umm Safa has been witnessing continuous attacks by Zionist settlers for weeks.
