The Iranian president made the remarks in a meeting with head, deputies, and senior managers of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) which last for three hours.
President Rouhani pointed to the US animosity against Iran, and said, 'Our people will under no condition succumb to the pressures of the US and the plots hatched by that government.'He underlined that the US animosity is due to Islamic Republic's success in different international fields in the past 40 years.
President Rouhani said that the US is infuriated because Iran has succeeded in fighting Daesh (the ISIS) and Tehran's support for the oppressed people of Palestine.
