Iran Press/Iran news: Abolfazl Aboutorabi, a representative of the People of Najafabad in the Majlis (parliament), said: "MPs have issued a statement, appreciating and praising the actions of Ayatollah Raisi [the head of the Judiciary] in the fight against bureaucratic corruption and fraud".
Saying the parliament views positively the actions of Ayatollah Raisi in combating corruption, he noted: "The statement sought to underscore the need to continue fighting corruption and fraud while declaring support for the judiciary's actions", Iran press reported.
He added: So far more than 100 MPs have signed the statement and the signatures are still increasing with more MPs declaring their support for the statement.
Earlier, Iranian Judiciary chief, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi had said the Islamic Revolution's nature is incorruptible because the basis of this system is based on the righteous path and rectitude.
