Iran Press/ Iran news: Following reports over the murder of an Iranian national by Swiss police, the director of consular affairs of the Iranian Foreign Ministry met with the Swiss ambassador in Tehran on Wednesday, urging the Swiss government to offer an official explanation of the incident.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry official underlined the need for all governments, including the Swiss government, to uphold the rights of Iranian citizens, saying that Tehran expects Bern to provide accurate information on the incident.
The ambassador, for his part, pledged to follow up on the issue through his respective government and announce the results. 219
