Iran Press/Iran news: Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, Ali Asghar Mounesan, on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony of Achaemenid cuneiform clay tablets, which returned recently to Iran, in an interview with Iran Press said, this is a great honor and pride to see the social matters have been engraved on these tablets.
He said the issues which have been engraved on the tablets indicate how Iran is a great country with enriched civilization and cultured people.
Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, added during that the last two years Iran's cultural Heritage has extended its international relations and interactions.
He stated, as you are well aware, Iran and other countries have exchanged artworks from the museums, to introduce the country's big capacities, great civilization to all nations around the world.
Ali Asghar Mounesan also said famous global museums have visited Iran in this regard.
He pointed, we have significant cultural exchanges and these kinds of activities are increasing.
The unveiling ceremony of Achaemenid cuneiform clay tablets after 80 years attended by Christopher Woods, director of The Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago, and Ali-Asghar Mounesan, the Cultural Heritage minister, held at Iran's National Museum, Tehran, October the 2nd 2019. 101/219
