Iran Press/ Iran news: The permanent representative of Iran to the United Nations, Gholamali Khoshroo has said: "The US' unilateral policies on legal, international and environmental issues and the country's withdrawal from international agreements, including the Iranian nuclear deal has increased the US isolation in the world."
Khoshroo who was speaking following resignation of the United States ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley added: "US' unilateralism during Haley's tenure led to America's isolation at the UN and despite Haley efforts, the Palestinian issue is still a top priority at the UN," according to an IRNA report.

Meanwhile, Ali Larijani, Iran's parliament speaker, at the third inter-parliamentary meeting of Eurasian countries in Antalya, Turkey on Tuesday said that unlawful and unilateral actions of world powers such as America have created widespread problems and challenges for the international community.
Larijani added that the US's illegal withdrawal from Iran's nuclear deal and its illegitimate decision on the Palestinian issue of announcing al-Quds as the capital of an illegitimate, occupying and aggressive regime, the withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement and disrupting the system of global trade tariffs are clear examples of US unilateral actions.

US ambassador to the United Nations and one of the anti-Iranian figures of the United States government, Nikki R. Haley, said on Tuesday that she would resign at the end of the year.
Haley along with other hawks in the administration, such as National Security Adviser John Bolton and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, try to promote a “maximum pressure” policy vis-a-vis Iran.
On May 8, US President Donald Trump pulled out of the 2015 multinational deal and announced re-imposition of the highest level of sanctions and other economic penalties on Iran.
Washington reinstated a series of unilateral sanctions against Iran in early August and would re-impose a second batch in November which would primarily be meant to undermine Tehran’s oil exports.
Besides sanctions, Trump administration is pursuing regime change in Iran.
