Brigadier General Moussa Kamali has said a plan to exempt university graduates who work (or are recruited by) knowledge based enterprises from conscription (compulsory military service ) has been put into effect, and is now operational.

Chief Conscription Officer of the Armed Forces Brigadier General Moussa Kamali, speaking at the conference room of Vice Presidency for Science and Technology,  on Sunday, said: "An agreement has been reached to use five hundred highly-qualified elite soldiers in knowledge based enterprises.

"The plan is a great opportunity for creating jobs, learning platform, and production", Chief Conscription Officer of the Armed Forces added.

 

"If the plan is successful, we will expand it further by the order of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei", Brigadier General Moussa Kamali noted.

 

"We will do our best  to use the soldiers' capabilities in knowledge based enterprises", Chief Conscription Officer of the Armed Forces stated.

 

"After all there would be no negative effects on the bases of military service and there is still no substitution for the service in Iran", Chief Conscription Officer of the Armed Forces Brigadier General Moussa Kamali concluded.
