Sayyed Hassan Khomeini in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news Agency describes prevailing security in Iran as the key to improve tourism.

 Hojatoleslam Sayyed Hassan Khomeini an Iranian cleric who is also the ground son of Late Imam Khomeini(Rh) who was the architect of Islamic Revolution paid a visit to the  Iranian cultural institute of ECO.

In an exclusive interview with Iran press international news agency he called Iran as an important country in the  field  of tourism within the regional and international scales.

Referring to the fact that the doors have always  been  kept open to the  tourists from all around the world ,Sayyed Hassan Khomeini  went on to call   "existing security" in Iran as a the main factor for tourism improvement.

The Iranian cleric also stressed the fact that Iranian's hospitality  also paves the ground for more tourists to come to the country.

Sayyed Hassan Khomeini expressed hope that Iranian nationals as well as tourists could enjoy the  Iranian rich  culture ,history  and civilization and Iranian  values and to get to know it more and to inform the other nations as well.

He also hailed  the proper ground paved for this very important objective .

The event was hosted by the head of the ECO cultural institute Mohammad Mehdi Mazaheri   who is considered as the top academic figure . 

The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Cultural Institute (ECI) was founded in 1995 and it's headquarters is in Tehran and is responsible to expand cooperation and cultural exchanges between ECO member-states.

ECO as a regional economic organization was founded by three countries of Iran, Pakistan and Turkey in year 1964.

In 1993, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan Republic, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan joined the organization.

The organization now has 10 members with around 330 million populations.

According to the Article of Association, ECO is trying to improve sustainable economic development for member states and gradual removal of trade obstacles in the region.

Among other goals of ECO is preparing common program for development of human resources in the 10 member-states.
