Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Saturday that Iran's right to uranium enrichment has been stabilized and has become indigenized in the country.

'We do welcome Mr. Pompeo to the world of foreign policy and diplomacy, but I think he has entered the case with some delay and lack of necessary and enough exploration of the issue,' he said.

Qasemi said that the US secretary of state is staying behind the international developments and is repeating the words of his predecessors. He advised Pompeo to review the case.

Qasemi made the remarks in reaction to the recent comments by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo who has said Iran should not be able to enrich uranium, rather it should import enriched uranium.
