The Iranian-Swiss joint meeting on scientific and academic cooperation took place in Sunday May 6,2018 in the ministry of Science in the Iranian Capital of Tehran.
Hosting the event,Dr Mansour Gholami , the Iranian minster of Science while emphasizing Iran's full support for developing the scientific cooperation with the foreign countries specially with Switzerland, said that there are high capacities for such activities in the educational affairs between Iran and the other countries ."we are planning to strenghen our international relations more than ever before':he emphasized.
Referring to brilliant ranking of 18 Iranian Universities among the best universities around the world Dr Gholami also mentioned the similar scientific cooperation between Iran and the other countries in Asia ,Europe ,as well as some African and Arabic countries.
He also stressed the other activities which Iran enjoys with the EU countries by 2030 .
The scientific and educational cooperation between the two countries will include holding the joint educational events in higher educational level ,the joint research based programs as well as scientific works shops and seminars,exchanging students and professors be tween the two involving sides , Dr Gholami explained.
Attending the event ,Markus Leitner the Swiss ambassador while appreciating Iran's hospitality expressed hope for the betterment of constructive cooperation in the field of sceince and education between the two countries.
In order to strenghen teh mutual scintific aand academic cooperation bewteen Iran and Switzerland At the end of the meeting a memorandum of undersatnding was sigend by Dr Gholami and Mauro Dell'ambrogio with the some of the proffesors and scintists being present from the two sides.
