The Vice commander of the IRGC, General Hossein Salami, in an interview with Press TV said: "The West is well aware of Iran's power and ability to end terrorism, but they want to portray Iran as threat to regional Arab countries".
General Salami also said: "The West wants to ignore Iran's supremacy, and wants to make Iran part of an equilibrium in the region".
Vice commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps said: "When that happens, Americans will be able to sell a lot more arms to Arab countries in the region".
Salami added: the Americans will then earn substantial money, to offset their economic downturn and this is the nature of the Americans who use this policy to dominate the world".
Referring to the fact that the general public is aware of the nature of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he added, Iran has never threatened any country and has always respected the territorial integrity of other nations.
Vice commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also said, Iran has always been the supporter of the oppressed people in world and supports their rights.
General Salami also said Iran adheres to international law, and does not violate it.
Vice commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also said, in a situation where the enemy wants to disarm Iran, the country will never disassociate itself from missile technology, which is a deterrent tool for this country.
General Salami said the Persian Gulf is a strategic asset of Iran, adding: "In all official UN documents, the name, Persian Gulf or the Persian Sea , appears, and represents the Iranian civilization of several thousand years".
