The conference was held at "Supreme University and Research Institute of National Defense and Strategic Research" in Tehran.
A number of high-ranking military and academic figures attended the conference. The plenary speakers of the meeting touched on the stabilizing role of Iranian presence in the Persian Gulf.
They also described the destabilizing ramifications of trans-regional forces in the Persian Gulf.
