Foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif who was in New York to attend the 73rd meeting of the United Nations general assembly returned home late on Saturday night.

Iran Press- Iran news/ Zarif arrived in New York on 23 September, a member of the delegation accompanying President Hassan Rouhani to the 73rd meeting of the United Nations general assembly in New York, IRNA reported.

During his two-week stay in New York, he had more than 100 working programs on his agenda including talks with foreign figures, particularly counterparts, delivering speeches in international circles and US think tanks, multilateral meetings on regional and international topics as well as interviews with international media and mainstream US media.

Foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif was interviewed by a host of media organizations such as CNN, The New Yorker Magazine, Aljazeera English, New York Times, BBC, CBS news, etc. during his stay in New York.
