Iran Press/America: “Iran is a much different country than two and a half years ago when I took over. It was all over. Now they just want to negotiate a deal so badly”, Donald Trump claimed in a rally in Ohio State on Thursday night.
The illusions of the US president raised while Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has repeatedly forbidden holding any talks with the US government.
"We will by no means repeat the bitter experience of negotiations with the US in the past recent years,” Ayatollah Khamenei underscored.
U.S. President Donald Trump proudly referred to his withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear agreement, claiming that: " To protect America's security, I withdrew the United States from the horrible Iran nuclear deal, the horrible stupid deal. We gave Iran $150 billion, we gave Iran $1.8 billion in cash, planeloads of cash."
However, the US did not provide Iran with $ 150 billion after the nuclear deal. Instead, some of Iran's frozen assets were released with much less actual total, according to western media and officials. 104/218
