Iranian President departured Tehran to Central Asia for SCO, CICA Summits.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday started a tour of Central Asia that takes him to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan for the SCO and CICA summits.

President Rouhani left Tehran for Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, on Thursday afternoon to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, Iran Press reported.

He noted that the summit is about regional security issues and combating terrorism.

Before heading to Bishkek, Rouhani said: "Our efforts have always been to protect and safeguard the peace and security of the region, and over the past years we have shown in practice that we are sensitive to our neighbors and regional security.

He added: "At the Shanghai Summit, there are important countries such as Russia and China, which our bilateral relationship with these two countries is really crucial; These two very important countries are the friends of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both countries are members of the 4 +1, and in the current situation, it is necessary to discuss the nuclear deal.

Rouhani emphasized: "What the Americans are doing today is more than a violation of a resolution or a treaty, in fact, the US action is economic terrorism. For the first time, the US has started a war with a nation openly especially with the vulnerable sections of society."

"Today Americans have begun the war with millions of well-known and cultural people, especially the weak classes. Of course, in this war our nation will certainly be victorious," he added.

Rouhani mentioned that the purpose of both summits is to discuss security and the fight against terrorism. Terrorism is condemned in every way to us. Economic terrorism is one of the very disagreeable forms of assassination in today's society.
