Activists gathered outside the White House, Monday afternoon to protest John Bolton during his first day as Trump new national security adviser.

IranPress- The activists mostly focused on his record with the Iraq war. They also condemned his positions on Iran, Syria, and North Korea that could lead to further bloody and expensive military conflicts. On Monday War Hawk John Bolton becomes national security adviser to the US president.

One of them called Syria chemical attack a false claim and said Bolton is going to push Trump into a military retaliation. 

"John Bolton is a War Hawk who wants to get us in to more wars but we want to live in a peaceful World," the other activists said.

On of the protesters said we are very concerned that Bolton is leading the National Security Council and supposed to take care of the United States security, He is a man of war.

Bolton was a key proponent of the Iraq war and never admit that the invasion of Iraq was a tragic mistake. He has has asked for bombing North Korea and overthrowing the Iranian government.

"To stop Iran's Bomb, Bomb Iran," read a 2015 op-ed by Bolton.

Shortly before the framework of the Iran nuclear deal was set in place, Bolton wrote a 2015 op-ed, “To Stop Iran’s Bomb, Bomb Iran.”

Trump selected Bolton last month. Former U.N. ambassador is the third person to hold the job in barely 14 months. 

Trump backers say Bolton will help bring some much-needed toughness to American foreign policy.

Critics worry that Bolton will push Trump to take even more aggressive stands toward Iran and North Korea, perhaps triggering military conflict that involves nuclear weapons.

Alongside Mike Pompeo, Trump's nominee for secretary of state, Bolton is seen as part of a potential war cabinet that could encourage Trump’s most hawkish tendencies.
