American and British forces launched aerial attack on Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, on Thursday night.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Al-Mayadeen also reported that the "Al Nahdin" district in the "Al-Sabain" area in the south of the capital and around the Sana'a International Airport in the north of the capital was targeted by American and British fighter jets on three occasions.

At least 16 people were killed and 35 others were injured in the series of attacks by American and British fighter jets on different areas of Sana'a, al-Hodeidah and Taiz in Yemen last night.

The media affiliated with Ansarallah also announced that the vicinity of Sana'a airport and the southern areas of the capital were targeted by the US and the UK coalition on 6 occasions.

Two days ago, the Al-Jabbana area in the west of al-Hodeidah province in the west of Yemen was attacked twice.

Yemen has been targeting Israeli-linked cargo ships in the Red Sea in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, which has been under an Israeli onslaught since Oct. 7 last year.

The Red Sea is one of the world's most frequently used sea routes for oil and fuel shipments.
