Polish PM said that his country will never join a US-led patrol in order to support the traffic of ships in the Persian Gulf.

Iran Press/Europe: Asked about joining to the US-led coalition in the Persian Gulf in an interview published Thursday, the Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said: 'that will not happen."

Talking to Funke Media Group, he emphasized that Poland had negotiated but did not agree to cooperate with US forces in naval operations in the Persian Gulf and this will not happen.

The Polish prime minister had said recently that any support for US and British efforts in the region was possible. But he did not elaborate on how these support would work.

The German government has also rejected the US request to participate in the offshore operation. The reason for Germany is that it does not want to support a strategy of 'the US maximum pressure' in this regard.

The United States has increased its military presence in the region and even called on other countries to join the US-led effort to enhance maritime security.

France also announced that it does not want to align on such a mission as it could be associated with the 'maximum pressure' policy and undermine efforts to keep the original agreement (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) alive.
