Setting his first victory in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Iranian fencer managed to join the 16 top fencers in the matches to face other rivals.

Iran Press/Europe: Ali Pakdaman overcame his Japanese rival Kento Yoshida on Saturday in the Sabre weapon category and would face Oh from South Korea in the next match. 

Mohammad Rahbar and Mohammad Fotouhi were two other Iranian Sabre fencers who failed to ascend to the next stage. 

The 33rd round of the Olympic Games, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, kicked off on July 26 and will continue until August 11.
