Iran Press/ Iran news: Thousands of people from East Azerbaijan met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the anniversary of the historical uprising of the people of Tabriz on February 18, 1978, in Tehran on Sunday morning.
In this meeting, the Leader thanked the people of Iran and the organizers for the passionate rally on 22 Bahman and said: "Everywhere in the country, people showed their enthusiasm and vitality. This year, people showed the glory of the revolution to the world on 22 Bahman.
Ayatollah Khamenei added: I also sincerely thank those who ensured the security of this extensive nationwide rally.
Leader: The way to reform the country is through elections

Emphasizing that everyone should participate in the elections, the Leader said that elections are the main pillar of the Islamic Republic. The way to reform the country is through elections.
Pointing out that the people should seek the right candidate in the elections, the Leader of the revolution said: Those who enter the election campaign should avoid insults and slander.
Ayatollah Khamenei went on to say: Elections in our country have always been conducted safely and soundly, this time will be the same, God willing.
The Leader stressed that political differences should not affect the national unity of the Iranian nation against the enemies.
