IP - Israel Military confirms Hezbollah's earlier report of shooting down an Israeli Hermes 900 UAV on Saturday and down its "valuable military asset" in southern Lebanon.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Hezbollah successfully shoots down an "IOF Hermes 900 UAV" penetrating Lebanese airspace, Al-Manar reported quoting Hezbollah's statement.

Shooting down Israeli Drones came a day after Hezbollah's barrage of missile attacks targetted the Israeli Military base in northern occupied lands.

The Hermes 900, also known as "Kochav", is designed and manufactured by the Israeli security technology company Elbit Systems and is primarily used for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, reconnaissance (ISTAR), and aerial reconnaissance missions.

Israel Military Radio announced that the Hermes 900 drone is one of the most expensive and largest drones in its Air Force.

Hezbollah on Friday targeted Israeli military sites and troops in the Biranit barracks - Israeli Division 91 base - with heavy warheads adjacent to the northern city of Kiryat Shmona in response to the Israeli assault on the southern Lebanese town of Maroun al-Ras.
